Der ehemalige Gutshof mit seinen ausgedehnten Stallungen und Scheunen wurde bis 1996 landwirtschaftlich genutzt und geh\u00f6rte lange Zeit zu den L\u00e4ndereien des ber\u00fchmten Klosters Lorsch. 1998 \u00e4nderte sich seine Bestimmung und mit Entstehen des neuen Golfclubs wurde das Anwesen aufwendig und liebevoll saniert und zum Clubhaus aus- und umgebaut.<\/p>\n<p>Eingerahmt von Streuobstwiesen, B\u00e4umen und Str\u00e4uchern f\u00fcgen sich die Spielbahnen des 18-Loch Meisterschaftsplatzes und der \u00dcbungsbereiche harmonisch in die Sch\u00f6nheit der Landschaft ein. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat das ebene Gel\u00e4nde noch ein paar weitere Gefahren f\u00fcr einen guten Score zu bieten: Die vielleicht gr\u00f6\u00dfte sind die an fast jedem dritten Loch blinkenden Gew\u00e4sser, die z.B. gleich an Bahn 3 beim Schlag ins Gr\u00fcn f\u00fcr leichte Nervosit\u00e4t sorgen.<\/p>\n<p>Zudem sind die Gr\u00fcns interessant onduliert und auch gut verteidigt. Bestes Beispiel daf\u00fcr ist Loch 9, ein Par 3, dessen \u00bbInselgr\u00fcn\u00ab vollst\u00e4ndig von einem Bunker umzingelt ist.
